Adopt-A-Tree
Each spring, volunteers from the Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation plant hundreds -- even thousands -- of new trees on selected sites within our watersheds. While we are skipping Adopt a Tree for 2011 due to our Open House, we hope you will "Adopt a Tree" today and plan to join us at our next planting event in 2012!
"One of my greatest joys is looking at clusters of forest and remembering when we planted some of the trees as long as 30 years ago. Our own children and grandchildren have been inspired by such tales, and have followed suit. I know of many other families who have had similar experiences in this area and elsewhere. Let's take advantage of this opportunity to spread that kind of happiness, satisfaction and continuity. We all have within ourselves the power to give back -- to replenish something which has provided us such pleasure as God's nature." ---Geoffrey Maclay, CLCF President
